Melissa is a licensed acupuncturist with over 15 years experience in the alternative medicine field. She uses the ancient tools of acupuncture and chinese herbs to effectively treat a wide range of modern health issues including fertility and gynecological issues, muscular and joint pain, digestive complaints and stress related conditions.
Well versed in western medicine, Melissa can understand and discuss the western physiology of people’s conditions, explain the application of Chinese Medicine, and then create an integrated treatment combining acupuncture, nutritional and herbal recommendations as well as lifestyle suggestions.
In 2008 Melissa co-founded the 904 Health Collective, an office that provides a beautiful and peaceful space for the individual practices of like-minded practitioners. Conveniently located in the Flatiron district, the office offers patients easy access to other modalities such as chiropractic and massage therapy.
